Despite the many prejudices harbored by Skyrim's Nord majority against his race, he was no doubt grateful to this land he now called home, and to the Nord blacksmith that had taken him in.

With the utmost gratitude to the blacksmith who had taken him in and trained him in his ways, the khajiit said his goodbyes and began his life of adventure throughout Skyrim, intent on living up to the legacy of his deceased father.Īt first he began with petty jobs of helping local jarls with bandits and minor disputes and errands, but in due time the nation had plunged itself into civil war, and he would have to pick a side to fight for: The Empire or the Stormcloaks of Skyrim. The smith took pity on the miserable child, and before long he had taken him into his home and apprenticed him in the art of forging weapons and armor.īy twenty years of age, Ra'nizar had become a master smith, and over the years had crafted his unique set of ebony light armor.

The caravan ended up concluding its journey in Skyrim's trading hub of Solitude, and upon the unloading of the goods aboard the many wagon trains, the young khajiit, huddled inside a crate full of iron ore and clutching his father's kilij scimitars, was discovered by a local blacksmith from Falkreath who was in town to receive the shipment for his forge. Thus, alone and faced with the demise of his father, Ra'nizar took it upon himself that he alone would carry on his father's legacy as a mighty fighter. With few to trust in a hostile world, he carried away with him the two fire-enchanted kilij scimitars his father had used for years as a warrior, and stowed away on the first caravan he laid eyes on in the marketplaces of Riverhold.įor weeks Ra'nizar hid amongst the wares and goods being transported, unsure of where he would ultimately end up or if he would even survive.

Yet he was not but five years of age when assassins, hired by the hated enemies his father had fought on the battlefields, covertly murdered him in his sleep. Unbeknownst to Ra'nizar's father, he himself had the blood of dragons instilled within his veins, and he had passed it down to his son destined to be a champion for all of Tamriel. His mother died in childbirth, with his father-a mercenary of renowned status-being left to raise him.

Ra'nizar was born in the Elsweyr/Cyrodiil border town of Riverhold. This was made by my awesome friend Nukahyena! His backstory is more or less the same as every other person's characters in Skyrim in regards to the quests that he's undertaken, however he's pursued a wide variety of modded quests such as Clockwork Castle, Rigmor of Bruma and Rigmor of Cyrodiil to give him further personalization.
